Wyvern Moor Update #9 – BackerKit Pledge Manager Now Open + Late Pledges!
– Wed, Sep 16, 2026 at 06:28:35 AM
Greetings to all you Bloodsworn, Ash Binders, and Way Keepers (and to you Dream Walkers and Chosen of Lequiem who picked up the expansions too)!
The BackerKit pledge manager for Wyvern Moor is now open, and invitations are being sent to all backers. Your invitation will allow you to:
Confirm or upgrade your pledge,
Add any copies of the core game, expansions and playmats you may have missed,
Provide your shipping address,
Pay the relevant shipping costs and any applicable taxes, and
Check that all of your details are correct.
Please note that for logistical reasons, a Kreel Manor (and/or expansions) reprint will not be available in BackerKit. If the demand is high enough we'll run a separate future campaign for a Kreel Manor reprint.
Look out for your invitation
BackerKit sends its emails in batches, so please don’t worry if yours does not arrive immediately. Allow a little time for it to appear, and please check your spam or junk folder too. Your invitation will be sent to the email address associated with your Kickstarter account.
If you still cannot find it after the invitations have finished going out tomorrow, you can recover your survey here by entering Wyvern Moor:
Or if you get really stuck, just email me: tristan at hallornothingproductions.co.uk and I'll resend you the direct link.
Missed the Campaign?
And if you're reading this and missed the Kickstarter, you can grab a late pledge/pre-order for anything from the campaign right here:
Completing your pledge
When you enter the pledge manager in BackerKit, the amount you pledged through Kickstarter will already have been credited to your account. You can then confirm your original rewards or use that credit towards a different pledge and any additional items you would like.
If you backed for £1, this is also your opportunity to upgrade to a full pledge and join us on the journey into Wyvern Moor.
Please work through every section and make sure you reach the confirmation page at the end. Entering your details without completing the final confirmation may leave your survey unfinished.
There is no particular advantage to racing through it today, but please complete your survey before the pledge manager closes at the end of October.
Address changes
Please use your current address when completing the survey. You will still be able to update it until we lock addresses much closer to fulfilment, so don’t worry if you expect to move before the game ships. We will post an update and give everyone plenty of warning before addresses are locked.
Thank you once again for making this campaign such an extraordinary success. We’re delighted to have you with us for the next stage...
Until next time!
Cheers,
Tristan
Wyvern Moor Update #8 – We did it!
– Tue, Aug 25, 2026 at 02:28:25 PM
Well...
We did it!
Wyvern Moor has finished with £114,634 pledged by 1,008 backers. 1146% funded. And, somehow, our biggest Kickstarter campaign since Call of Kilforth. :O
We even beat Kreel Manor. I wasn't sure that was going to happen. In fact, for most of the last three weeks I was fairly sure it wasn't going to happen. But apparently you lot had other ideas.
So yes. That's a bloomin' good result, and a testament to the fact that in this ever-more crowded market, support for high quality indie games is still strong.
Three weeks ago I pressed the launch button and did the traditional Kickstarter thing of staring nervously at a screen while pretending to get on with life.
Since then more than a thousand of you have journeyed to the Moor, I've answered approximately seventeen million questions, earned a Project We Love badge, played some Gloom of Kilforth live online, and watched the campaign somehow keep climbing right up to the final minutes. And it's all been 100% brilliant. :D
Thank you.
To everyone who backed, commented, shared a post, told a friend, joined the livestream, came back after Kreel Manor or one of our other games, or discovered Hall or Nothing for the first time through Wyvern Moor: thank you for being part of it.
What happens now?
First, a quiet celebration, a bit of dancing around my office to some synth-wave, and then right back to work.
Over the coming months I'll be continuing to write, refine, test and generally poke until Wyvern Moor blooms into its final form, and the game I've had rattling around in my head all this time.
There's still artwork to complete, adventures to write, cards to balance, files to prepare, and undoubtedly several things I've forgotten about while writing this update.
You'll continue to hear from me here as all of that progresses. The campaign might be finished, but the updates certainly aren't. I'll try to stick to monthly updates until fulfilment completes, so as not to clog your inbox.
BackerKit pledge manager
I'll also start preparing the BackerKit pledge manager. Once that's ready, you'll receive an invitation to confirm your shipping details and you'll have another opportunity to pick up any available add-ons or upgrade your pledge.
There's nothing you need to do right now. I'll shout when there is.
For now, Wyvern Moor is funded, more than a thousand of you are coming with, and this epic dungeon crawl card game has become one of the biggest campaigns I've ever run.
I get to keep making these awesome fantasy worlds because you keep turning up to explore them, and I don't take that for granted.
Thank you for trusting me with another one.
Have a flipping awesome week!
Cheers,
Tristan
Wyvern Moor Update #7 – The final hours!
– Mon, Aug 24, 2026 at 04:03:16 AM
Hello there,
Somehow, we're already here. After three incredible weeks, the Wyvern Moor campaign is entering its final days. When Francesca and I launched the campaign, we genuinely didn't know what to expect. Hall or Nothing is still just me — with Francesca helping out when she can get time away from her full time day job — making strange fantasy games and hoping there are enough people out there who want to come along for the adventure. As it turns out, there are rather a lot of you. 😄
The response to Wyvern Moor has been incredible. From everyone who backed on day one, to those who discovered us during the campaign, to all the familiar names returning from Gloom of Kilforth, Shadows of Kilforth, Veilwraith and Kreel Manor, thank you. But we're not quite finished yet.
The Final Push
If you've been following the campaign but haven't pledged yet, now's the time to join us. And if you've already backed, you can still make an enormous difference.
Please share the campaign one last time. Send it to that friend who loves dungeon crawlers. Drop it into your gaming group. Mention it to the solo gamer who's somehow managed to avoid hearing me talk about Wyvern Moor for the last three weeks. 😄
For a tiny publisher like Hall or Nothing, word of mouth really is everything. Every new adventurer who discovers the campaign in these final days helps make Wyvern Moor stronger.
One last trip to Kilforth
We also squeezed in another Gloom of Kilforth Digital livestream yesterday, which was a brilliant way to spend part of the campaign's final weekend. Thank you to everyone who joined us live, asked questions, offered suggestions, or simply watched me wander around Kilforth making questionable decisions. 😄
The digital version remains a fan-made project in development, but it's been great fun watching it evolve, and we'll hopefully be back for another adventure before too long. And it's here if you missed it:
Once the campaign ends, we'll begin preparing the BackerKit pledge manager, where you'll be able to confirm your details and pick up any available add-ons. I'll continue working on Wyvern Moor over the coming months, and I'll keep you updated as the artwork, development, final testing and production progress. So, there are still plenty of adventures ahead. For now, though, let's see where these final hours take us.
Thank you so much for getting Wyvern Moor this far. One last push. One last adventure. Let's see what happens. 😄
Cheers!

Wyvern Moor Update #6 – Your questions answered
29 days ago
– Fri, Aug 21, 2026 at 01:03:58 AM
Hello there,
Firstly, thank you once again for your kind emails, messages, comments, and brilliant questions over the past week. I thought I'd answer a few of the ones that have come up most often. This will probably be my penultimate update before the campaign ends — I can't believe it's almost over already! :D
FAQs
Can I play Wyvern Moor without owning Kreel Manor?
Absolutely. Wyvern Moor is a completely standalone game.
Can I use my Kreel Manor heroes?
Yes! Heroes can travel between the two games. I'm also working on a simple solution to make Kreel Manor's Threats and Foes fit neatly into Wyvern Moor's progression system.
Will there be a pledge manager?
Yes. After the campaign, everyone will receive access to the BackerKit pledge manager, where you'll be able to confirm your shipping details and pick up any available add-ons or upgrade your pledge.
Will previous Hall or Nothing games be available?
If we have remaining stock after fulfilment commitments, I'll make it available in the pledge manager. Once things sell out, though, reprints aren't guaranteed, so I can't promise everything will be around.
If there's anything else you'd like to know, keep the questions coming, as they often inspire future updates like this one.
Thank You
And with just a few days left on Wyvern Moor, I just wanted to say thank you again. For backing the games, playing them, talking about them, and allowing me to keep doing something I bloomin' love.
Whatever you've got going on in your own world, I wish you peace and love, and just a massive big thank you to all of you absolute legends.
Cheers,
Tristan
PS. Gloom Livestream #2! Yeah, it was a lot of fun last time, so I'm going to do another live play of the fan-made digital version of Gloom of Kilforth on Sunday at 8pm BST. Feel free to pop into our Discord chat to join in and say hello, or just grab a beer, put your feet up, and watch the inevitable disaster unfold. :D
Wyvern Moor Update #5 – Why there are no stretch goals
about 1 month ago
– Tue, Aug 18, 2026 at 05:12:40 AM
Hello there,
No Stretchies
A few people have asked why Wyvern Moor doesn't have traditional stretch goals. The short answer is that I'd rather spend my time making the game than designing a campaign around unlocking bits of it.
I've always felt that when someone backs a project, they should be backing the game I actually want to make—not waiting to find out whether enough people pledge before it becomes the version I had in mind. So everything I believe should be in Wyvern Moor is already in Wyvern Moor.
That also makes production much smoother. Fewer moving parts, fewer last-minute changes, and less chance of delays. I'd much rather under-promise and over-deliver than the other way around. :D
As always, thank you all for making this campaign possible. Every comment, every share and every pledge helps a tiny mum and dad company like ours more than you know.
Digital Kilforth
Thanks to everyone who joined me on Sunday for our live playthrough of Jarrett Dunn's brilliant fan-made digital version of Gloom of Kilforth. And if you missed the stream, you can now watch the full playthrough on our YouTube channel, link below.
Huge thanks to Jarrett for the ridiculous amount of work that's gone into bringing Kilforth to life digitally, and to everyone who joined us on Discord and YouTube for the evening. ❤️
I had a lot of fun, so if there's enough interest I might do another. In any case, here's to more Kilforth Digital adventures to come...
